Man Beaten For Being Gay

Earlier this week, a man walked into a store on a normal day with his husband to buy groceries for their apartment, when everything went wrong. As the two men were in the store together, they began to publicly show their affection towards each other as they were shopping. They expected people to look and judge their actions, but what happened next was something they did not expect or prepare themselves for. A man approached them and asked the two men to please stop acting like that in front of his kids. One of the victim’s protested, saying that it was a free country and that they could show their affection towards each other just like any straight couple. The suspect got angry with the gay man and began to beat the man till he was knocked out. Police were called and the suspect was apprehended and charged with assault and attempted murder.
